UK-based contract manufacturer Europlaz has invested £200,000 to expand its ISO Class 7 cleanroom facility at its Southminster site in Essex. The new extension adds 200 square meters of cleanroom space designed to accommodate new injection moulding machines and assembly lines.
This upgrade supports a major contract with medical technology company Olympus and is part of a larger £4 million plan to increase production capacity for Class I to III medical devices.
