In the midst of one of Lebanon’s most severe healthcare crises, Life Relief and Development (LIFE) has stepped up to deliver vital medical supplies and equipment to six healthcare institutions across the country. The donation arrives at a critical time, as Lebanon’s healthcare system struggles to recover from prolonged conflict, economic collapse, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the devastating 2020 Beirut Port explosion.
Aid Reaches Key Hospitals and Non-Profit Organizations
Over recent months, LIFE has distributed essential medical equipment to several institutions, including Lebanon Getawi Hospital – UMC, one of the nation’s earliest hospitals. Other beneficiaries include L’Ecoute NGO, which supports the deaf and individuals with special needs; Arcenciel, a non-profit aiding Lebanon’s poorest communities; and the Asile Maronite des Vieillards Laboratory and Medical Center.
